Abstract:
PURPOSE:To permit the guidance of a guided body to a target by a method wherein the guided body is provided with steering wings for guiding the guided body to the target, an angle detector, generating a steering wing driving signal, and a steering wing driving device for moving steering wings in accordance with the signal of the angle detector. CONSTITUTION:When a steering wing 1 is not directed to the direction of a target radio wave source 9, the strengths of arriving waves from the target radio wave source 9, which are received by antennae 6, 7, are compared by a receiver 8 to convert it into a steering wing driving signal corresponding to an error angle between the target radio wave source 9 and the steering wing 1. A steering wing driving device 3 receives the steering wing driving signal from the receiver 8 through a cable 5 and rotates a shaft 4 in accordance with the signal so as to make the error angle 0 deg., then, a moment is applied on the guided body 10 by a lift received by the steering wing 1 since the steering wing 1 is attached before the center of gravity of the guided body 10 in the advancing direction thereof. As a result, the advancing direction of the guided body 10 is changed to the direction of the target radio wave source 9 and the lift of the steering wing 1 is lost when the advancing direction of the same coincides with the direction of the target radio wave source 9 whereby the guided body may be guided to the target radio wave source 9.
