Abstract:
PURPOSE:To use an IC card in common by registering plural personal identification information in one IC card, discriminating each personal identification information by a personal identification information collating part and deciding the start of application processing specified by a user through a qualification checking part. CONSTITUTION:An IC card 10 is inserted into a terminal equipment 12 and personal identification information (PIN) and application (APL) information are inputted from the terminal equipment 12. The IC card 10 searches a personal identification information registering area 21 in a memory 14 and collates the registered PIN with the inputted PIN. As the result of collation, the APL to be serviced is determined, and if qualification exists, a history pointer is updated to secure a writing area for history information. Whether addresses are overflowed due to the updating of the history pointer or not discriminated, and when a writing area is still left, transaction is started and a transaction history is written in the writing area. To prevent the precedently written history information from being lost, the precedent history information is transmitted to a center 13 so as to be receded. When qualification is not obtained by the inputted PIN, transaction is disabled.
