PURPOSE: To connect a hollow PC member simply and efficiently.

CONSTITUTION: Hollow PC members 1, 2 are connected in upper and lower sections, and concrete is placed, thus constructing a post. Hardware for temporary fixing is driven previously to the connecting sections of both PC members 1, 2 while post main reinforcements 5, 6 are driven to both PC members 1, 2, and a cylindrical coupler 7 a lower end of which is opened is installed to the lower section of the post main reinforcement 5 of the upper-section PC member 1. On the other hand, a blocking plate 9 blocking the lower-end opening of the coupler 7 and a nut 10 as a jig fixing the blocking plate 9 are mounted previously to a screw reinforcement as the post main reinforcement 6 of the lower-section PC member 2, the state, in which both PC members 1, 2 are fixed by the hardware for temporary fixing, is brought at the time of connection, the upper end of the post main reinforcement 6 of the lower-section PC member 2 is inserted into the coupler 7 of the upper-section PC member 1 while the lower-end opening of the coupler 7 is blocked by the blocking plate 9 and fastened by the nut 10, and the inside of the coupler 7 is filled with grout 11 and the connecting sections are sealed.
