PURPOSE: To promote the hair production of a site of the head or pubic or eyebrow, by applying a hair producing agent containing a solution or components taken out of the leaf, stem or root of a comfrey by the raw pressing method, etc.

CONSTITUTION: A solution or components taken out of a comfrey by the raw pressing method of the leaf, stem and root thereof, leaching with cold water, decoction with hot water or another extracting method of the dried leaf, stem and root thereof are if nessary mixed with mixture solution of another plant or substance, and the resultant solution is used as a hair producing agent and appled to the site of the head, pubic hair or eyebrow 2W3 times a day to promote the hair production of the site. The depilated site of the head is restored or the artichia, oligotrichosis of pelage or eyebrows are improved. The hair producing agent has no side effects.
