Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a tuning circuit which uses highly precise current reference with an analog/digital converter and generates digital output showing the fluctuation of an inner resistance value. CONSTITUTION: For supplying an analog voltage signal to the analog/digital converter 218, highly precise current reference Iref is supplied to an inner tuning resistor R210. An analog voltage signal changes in accordance with the fluctuation of the value of the tuning resistor by means of a process and a temperature. Digital output 228 controls programmable capacitor arrays C220 and C222 contained in the tuning circuit 202 and an active RC filter 208. The band width of the active RC filter 208 is controlled by programmable capacitor arrays C220 and C222 and the inner resistors R212, R214 and R216.
