Title:
【発明の名称】遊技機用マイクロプロセッサー
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2918855
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To sufficiently prevent a program or data from being revised by stopping the operation of a device when a verify code is not coincident as the compared result of a central processing unit(CPU) and executing an application program when it is coincident. SOLUTION: A completed external ROM 14 is connected to a processor A in the case of really operating that ROM while mounting it on a game machine. Then, when the external ROM 14 is connected, the processor A calculates the authenticating code by scanning the application program based on the same key code as an issuing machine and a cipher program stored in its internal ROM 10. Next, the authenticating code stored in the external ROM 14 is compared with the authenticating code calculated by the processor A and when they are coincident, the application program is executed but when they are not coincident, the application program is not executed but stopped.
