Abstract:
PURPOSE:To detect a minimum value suitable for making into an integrated circuit by detecting the minimum value from a lot of numeric values at extremely high speed and simultaneously using only the same element in the realizing means. CONSTITUTION:Two numeric values are respectively inputted to two input layer block linear elements U01 and U02, of which the weight is '1', and the outputs of the input layer block linear elements U01 and U02 are inputted to a first two-input intermediate layer block linear element U11, of which the weight is '-1' and '1', and a second intermediate layer block linear element U12 of which the weight is '0' and '1'. Then, the outputs of the intermediate layer block linear elements U11 and U12 are inputted to an output layer block linear element U21 which the weight is '-1' and '1' and therefore among two numeric values, the smaller one is outputted from the output layer block linear element U21. On the other hand, it is also enabled by deformation so as to input the outputs of the two block linear elements U01 and U02 to the block linear element U11 and to input the outputs of the block linear elements U11 and U02 to the block linear element U21 of which the weight is '-1' and '1'.
