Abstract:
PURPOSE: To propare a dementia treating agent-including formulation which can sustain its effect for 2 weeks to 1 month after single subcutaneous or intramuscular injection.
CONSTITUTION: This sustained release microsphere is prepared by allowing a substrate made of a biocompatible polymer which is decomposable in vivo to include 2-(8-dimethylaminooctylthio)-3-(2-thenoyl)-6-isopropyl-pyridine or its acid adduct salt, and having an average particle size of 15-400μm.
