Abstract:
The aluminum balls are formed in a most argon atmosphere directed from a nozzle (49) by applying an electrical potential across a spark gas between an electrode (59) and the end (57) of aluminum wire (53) causing a spark to occur which causes the end (57) of the aluminum wire (53) to melt, forming an aluminum ball.
