Abstract:
PURPOSE:To promote decrease of interior noise without decreasing stability and controllability against on roads and wet roads. CONSTITUTION:Plural circumferential grooves 2L and 2R, 3L and 3R on the tread surface T of a tire, left and right large-width inclined grooves 4L and 4R which are inclined against the circumferential grooves, and left and right small-width inclined grooves 7L and 7R which are reversely inclined are provided. Medium-width inclined grooves 10L and 10R having such an opening width that prevents groove walls from contacting each other at the time of tire load rolling are provided at intervals of three pitches in the circumferential direction of the left and right small-width inclined grooves 7L and 7R, the left and right large-width inclined grooves 4L and 4R are shifted by 1/2 pitch in the circumferential direction in the central area of the tread, and one longitudinal end 11L and 11R of the grooves is closed.
