PURPOSE: To scrape up crushed stones on the slope of a ballast while traveling at a slow speed and lessen driving power.

CONSTITUTION: A fitting body 16 is attached to the side of a carrier body 10 so as to be lifted and inclined vertically through a parallel 4-node Link mechanism. And a frame 40 is connected to the fitting body 16 by a first swinging cylinder 56 so as to enable it to swing horizontally. And an endless chain provided with a scraper plate and a lower skirt 42 are fitted to the frame 40 to form a scraping-up device A. The endless chain is rotated while forcing the lower skirt 42 to make contact with the ballast 1 along the direction 3 of ballast 1 and at the same time, the carrier body crushed stones 10 is driven to travel at a slow speed. In this way, the crushed stones on the slope 3 can be heaved and scraped up by a scraping plate.
