PURPOSE: To make fitting operation of a nonskid equipment easy and sure by mounting a feed mechanism for supplying chains of both sides of the nonskid equipment to both sides of a tyre and a supporting mechanism for supporting the chains wound around the outer periphery of the tyre.

CONSTITUTION: When a nonskid equipment 1 is mounted, head end parts of chains 2 and 3 of the nonskid equipment 1 are drawn off from a chain container box 21 and supplied into rails 11 and 12 through feeding sprockets 14 and 15. Next the driving sprocket 18 is normally rotated by means of a motor 16 and accordingly the feeding sprockets 14 and 15 are rotated in the counterclockwise direction through a chain 19 to feed the chains 2 and 3 into the rails 11 and 12 successively. When the outer chain 3 arrives at the neighborhood of the outlet of the rail 12, a connecting pin fitted to the chain 3 is engaged in an engaging hole of a guiding expansion chain 7 by the action of a cam groove. In this condition, the nonskid equipment 1 is wound around an outer peripheral portion of a tyre 5 by rotating the tyre 5.
