Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide an interface device capable of reducing power consumption in the standby state of the device.
CONSTITUTION: This interface device 18 decods instructions from a microcomputer 10 and selectively controls a prescribed IC. Also, the interface device 18 is constituted by utilizing an IIL element requiring the supply of an Inj current. Then, by an Inj current preparation circuit 14 controllable from the microcomputer 10, the Inj current in the standby state of the device is controlled so as to be less than the Inj current in a power-on state. Thus, in the standby state, the power consumption of the device is reduced.
