Abstract:
PURPOSE:To make it possible for an operator at a remote place to easily select a desired position among a plurality of target positions and to automatically position to the desired position while monitoring a camera image. CONSTITUTION:A reference mark and a mark of each target position are set. The positional data of the marks is formed based on the measurement of the relative position to the reference mark. A designated mark is determined on the basis of the coordinates designated by the operator and the positional data of each mark on the camera image. Then, the camera or the like is moved near to the designated mark. Positioning is achieved by measuring the image of the mark.
