PURPOSE: To reduce the number of required feed trucks when a rotary coating work and a usual painting work are coated in a mixed state.

CONSTITUTION: A rotary truck D1 is used in both of the feed of a rotary coating work W requiring rotation and that of a usual coating work requiring no rotation. A rotary conveyor 8 for imparting rotatory power is arranged over the range from the setting zone 6 placed on the downstream side of a painting zone 5 to a preparatory drying zone 7. A clutch is fitted in the rotary mechanism of the rotary truck D1 and a clutch changeover station S setting the clutch to an ON- or OFF-state corresponding to whether the work W is a rotary painting one or a usual coating one is attached to the position on this side of a rotary conveyor 8, for example, on this side of the transfer station S1 transferring the work W to the rotary truck D1.
