PURPOSE: To provide a lens device capable of accurately moving an optical element in an optical axis direction.
CONSTITUTION: The holding frame 13 of a 2nd lens L2 constituting the lens device is frictionally connected to a driving shaft 111 driven by a piezoelectric element 15 through a contact member 13b, and supported to freely move in an optical axis direction. A guiding shaft 19 arranged in parallel with the driving shaft 14 pierces the groove 13d of the holding frame 13 to prevent the holding frame 13 from rotating. Furthermore, the device is provided with a guiding mechanism where three notches 13a formed on the periphery in the circumferential direction of the holding frame 13 are engaged with three ribs 11d extended in the optical axis direction on the inner surface of a lens outside barrel 11 in order to accurately guide the holding frame 13 in the optical axis direction and also prevent the holding frame 13 from being displaced because of receiving external force.
