Abstract:
PURPOSE: To record plural digital data by using a digital data recorder or to improve error correction ability without changing the format of recording.
CONSTITUTION: By using the digital recorder capable of recording a digital signal to be transmitted by nbps, plural signals having total transmission rates of less than nbps are transformed to the format of the recorder by a first recording adapter 32. Then, this signal is recorded through an error correcting encoder 15 and a modulator 16 to a magnetic recording and reproducing system 17. At the time of demodulation, this is demodulated by a demodulator 18 and decoded by an error correcting decoder 19. Then, the plural original signals are reproduced by a first reproducing adapter 33.
