Abstract:
Tyre tread for heavy goods vehicles with a radial carcass comprising a plurality of circumferential rows of blocks (13) provided with incisions (15) and bounded by circumferential (10) and transverse (12) grooves, the said blocks being joined together in the circumferential direction by flats (14) which are arranged in the transverse grooves (12) and whose height increases from the centre towards the edges of the tread, the depth of the incisions (15) decreasing from the centre towards the edge of the tread and the density of the incisions being at its greatest in the middle zone (Z) of the tread.
