Abstract:
The invention concerns an analogue function network which simulates a predetermined characteristic curve (21) hardwarewise. The characteristic curve (21) is divided into a given number of n intervals (21, 22, 23, 24 and 25) for each of which an analogue circuit produces an associated individual function. Only the individual function produced in the respective active interval is activated at the output. The invention is particularly suitable for producing the so-called Vedilis curve in which a lamp current associated with a given lamp voltage and determined for a high-pressure gas-discharge lamp, for example in motor vehicle headlights, is used as a nominal value for the subsequent current regulating circuit in order to obtain a given, optionally constant, lamp output.
