Title:
PRESSURE-SENSITIVE COPYING MATERIAL
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS595088
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain a copying material having a favorable multi-strike property and generating little ground contamination, by increasing the density of an ink or the size of ink particles at a central part of an ink layer, in an overstrike- type pressure-sensitive copying material.

CONSTITUTION: In an ink ribbon comprised of a film base 1, an adhesive layer 2 and an ink layer 3, the ink layer 3 comprising ink particles 4 and a binder 5 is so constituted that the density of the ink is low or the size of the ink particles 4 is small at outside parts of the layer 3, while the density of the ink is high or the size of the ink particles 4 is large at the central part of the layer 3. The size of the ink particles 4 is distinguished as large or small, with a diameter of about 3 as a reference. The ink layer 3 is desirably produced by coating in two layers or in three layers.
