Abstract:
PURPOSE:To perform accurate fault detection even when ambient temperature is extremely low by comparing the output voltage of a temperature regulator with a reference voltage after electricity is fed for a certain time, and then deciding on a fault of the temperature regulator when the output voltage is higher than the reference voltage. CONSTITUTION:A heater 3 for heat cooking is installed in the heating chamber 2 of cooking apparatus 2, and a thermistor 4 measures the temperature in the chamber 2. Then, an LSI18 compares the output voltage VTH of the thermistor 4 with a reference voltage V0 by the output signal of a delay circuit 12 a prescribed time after the heating of the cooking apparatus 12 is started. When VTHV0, on the other hand, the thermistor 4 increases in resistance value abnormally, thereby deciding that the breaking of wire occurs to the thermistor.
