Abstract:
PURPOSE: To ensure fishes to go upstream with a small number of collapsible weirs, and undertake a ground construction work for providing the weirs within a small extent and in a simple way.
CONSTITUTION: A pair of collapsible weirs 2 and 3 are provided in a river, so as to oppose the direction of a river flow. Then, only the upstream weir 2 is first erected and fishes A are caused to go upstream to the vicinity thereof. After the elapse of the preset time, the downstream weir 3 is erected and the upstream weir 2 is collapsed, thereby causing the fishes A to go upstream in the river 1.
