PURPOSE: To obtain a motor type speaker which can be easily assembled with high efficiency, by setting a diaphragm into a magnetic circuit part after connecting the diaphragm to a frame having a stage part via a holding plate with attachment of a voice coil and then drawing a lead wire out of a notched part of the frame.

CONSTITUTION: A diaphragm 12 is made of a polyester sheet material and connected through a frame 13 having a stage part and a holding plate 11. Then a voice coil 17 is attached to the diaphragm 12. The coil 17 is set into a gap of a magnetic circuit containing a yoke 21, a magnet 24 and a pole piece 25. The frame 13 has a notched part 15, and a lead wire 20 is connected to a lead substrate 18 from the diaphragm 12 through the part 15. The fringe of the yoke 21 touches the stage part 27 of the frame 13 to have a uniform structure for the gap of the magnetic circuit. In such way, a motor type diaphragm is obtained with an easy assembly and high efficiency.
