PURPOSE: To provide a device which can treat automatically materials to be treated while said materials are carried into the device, agitated and transferred by forming a basket for contg. the spiral materials to be treated which is fitted pivotally to the rear wall of a housing in such a way that said basket can be rotated backward to the position on the outside of the rear wall of the housing after the basket is rotated forward in the position of the treating means in the lower part of the housing.

CONSTITUTION: When a basket 30 comes to the 1st (solid line) position in a housing 1, a cover plate 10 descends to open an aperture 4 and at the same time chutes 56, 52 operate. Materials to be treated are charged into the basket 30 by means of said chutes. When the basket 30 is rotated forward, the half part thereof is kept dipped in the paint liquid in a liquid tank 23 and therefore the respective contents in the basket are agitated and the entire surface thereof is painted. An arm 28 is turned counterclockwise by means of a motor 34 upon lapse of a set time, by which the basket 30 is rotated forward and is pulled up to the 2nd position where the materials are removed of the liquid. The aperture 5 opens after the set time and the basket 30 under the forward rotation stops in the 3rd position in the same way as mentioned above. The basket is then rotated backward to discharge the materials therefrom. The materials are dried by the 2nd device, as necessary.
