PURPOSE: To control a temperature rise inside an engine room, by installing a load detection device detecting the load state of an engine, a fuel feed quantity setting device setting a fuel feed quantity and a control device controlling a fuel feed quantity regulating device altogether.
CONSTITUTION: Each of solenoid type fuel injections valves 4 and 4' forming a fuel feed quantity regulating device is installed in an air charging passage 1 of a four-cylinder engine E. Also, an air flow sensor 6 forming a load detection device and a charging temperature sensor 7 detecting charging air temperature are installed in this air charging passage 1. A computer 13 controls these fuel injection valves 4 and 4' when the engine is in a state of high load and the charging air temperature goes up beyond the specified value, and makes these injection valves feed a combustion chamber with a more plenty of fuel. With this constitution, a rise in engine combustion temperature in time of high load driving can be controlled. Therefore, a temperature rise inside an engine room is controllable in this way.
