Abstract:
PURPOSE:To detect a discontinuity positively and constantly regardless of a rotary angle by using especially a high-frequency signal. CONSTITUTION:In a rotary detection device for converting an SIN wave signal 2 and a COS wave signal 3 from a rotary detector 1 to a digital angle signal 6a by an analog/digital converter 6, a high-frequency signal 12a is superposed on an SIN wave signal line 10 which outputs the SIN wave signal 2 and a COS wave signal line 11 which outputs the above COS wave signal 3 and a discontinuity state is detected by detecting the high-frequency signal 12a.
