PURPOSE: To provide an information processor enabling even a person inexpert in a computer to accurately and quickly recognize a practical drive name for the information processor.

CONSTITUTION: In the information processor provided with information processing means (floppy disk drives 17, 18, 21, CDROMs 19, 22 and hard disks 20, 23) controlled at their operation in accordance with an operating system at the time of starting the processor and having drive names/file names allocated based upon the operating system, display parts for displaying the drive names/file names recognized by the operating system are formed on the surfaces of cases 2b, 21a, 22a, 23a for the information processing means.
