Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide an upper front pillar having rigidity and additionally provided with a connecting part to a front roof rail.
CONSTITUTION: An upper front pillar 12 is provided with an upper front pillar main body 13 constituted out of an extruded material 24 having a closed sectional construction part 16, and a connecting part 15 for a front roof rail 14 which is in one body with the upper front pillar main body 13 and formed by swelling out a part of the peripheral wall 17 of the closed sectional construction 16.
