PURPOSE: To make it possible to release brakes from the exterior by using a standard base plate even for a small size oil pressure traveling motor provided with a parking brake.

CONSTITUTION: In the oil pressure traveling motor for a vehicle formed by inserting a dummy spool 22 inside the valve bore 18 for a counterbalance valve provided on the base plate 3 of a motor case 1 and partitioning oil passages communicated respectively with a main port 14 and the like inside the valve bore 18 by the spool 22, a positioning pin 30 for turning stop is inserted into the spool 22 through the base plate 3 from the outside. Under this condition, an inserting hole, penetrating the base plate 3 and the spool 22 from the outside, is provided in the pressing piston of a parking brake 9 for screwing a brake releasing bolt 35.
