Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain a method for uniformly forming a coating material layer of a fixed thickness on a surface of a molded item, in an in-mold coating method.

CONSTITUTION: After a resin material is molded between split molds 1 and 2, a clamping pressure of the split molds is once released or reduced. While a coating material is injected by a coating material injecting member 4, the mold is held at a fixed position by controlling the clamping pressure. In this manner, a coating material layer having a uniform thickness is formed.
