PURPOSE: To prevent the leakage of the liquid in a container to the outside when the container is turned over, by holding a volatile liquid in a container of which at least the upper surface or the side surface is constituted of a gas permeable but liquid impermeable material.

CONSTITUTION: A volatile liquid 2 is contained in a container of which at least the upper surface or the side surface is constituted of gas permeable but liquid impermeable material 3. In this case, the volatile liquid 2 is at least one kind of substance selected from insecticides (e.g., pyrethroid type insecticides, org. phosphorus insecticides), harmful organism repellents (e.g., di-n-propylisocinchomeronate) and perfumes. In addition, the gas permeable and liquid impermeable material is obtained by a method wherein an oriented sheet comprising thermoplastic resin such as polyethylene containing 40W85wt% inorg. filler is pref. used and oriented uniaxially or biaxially within a range of 50W500% in volumetric draw ratio. In addition, as the above inorg. filler, oxide of Ca with an average particle size of about 0.1W100μm is used.
