PURPOSE: To eliminate malfunction of a data imprinting device due to emission of light and the influence to be exerted on the performance for displaying data by supplying an electric power source to a light source for imprinting from a power source battery having large battery capacity.

CONSTITUTION: A power source battery 2 for a camera body circuit 1 is used via a transistor 4 as an electric power source of light source L for imprinting. The battery 2 is, for example, an SUM-3 type battery having large battery capacity and therefore even if the light source L is used as the load, the voltage drop thereof is extremely small. No influence is exerted at all on photographing even if the light source L is used as the load simultaneously with the circuit 1. The load of the battery 6 is thus decreased and the utilizing efficiency of the battery 6 is considerably improved.
