PURPOSE: To widely control an air-fuel ratio in responce to temperature by providing an electric actuator for adjusting an air bleed area of a variable Venturi type carburetor and a solenoid pump for supplying an auxiliary fuel and controlling an operation of said carburetor in responce to said engine temperature in said variable Venturi type carburetor.
CONSTITUTION: In a variable Venturi type carburetor 1 comprising a piston 9 and a metering needle 11 inserted into a main jet 10 moved and displaced resisting a spring 12 due to the generation of negative pressure corresponding to the number of engine revolutions, an electric actuator 3 for controlling a passage area of an air bleed passage 2 is provided. In addition, a solenoide pump 6 for supplying a fuel of an amount corresponding to the on/off frequency of the solenoid 4 to an air intake passage 5 via an auxiliary fuel passage. If engine temperature detected by a temperature sensor 7 is higher than a set valve, only the electric actuator 3 is driven by an air-fuel ratio control device 8, and if lower, the solenoid pump 6 is driven for air-fuel ratio control.
