Abstract:

PURPOSE: To improve the acceleration response characteristic of the engine by a method wherein in a method for determining the actual amunt of fuel injection by obtaining the basic amount of fuel injection from the engine load and the engine speed, the injection of a fuel and the correcting operation of the amount of fuel injection are started simultaneously with the termination of measurement of the basic amount of fuel injection.

CONSTITUTION: An electronic fuel injection controlling device corrects through its control device 50 the basic fuel injection time obtained from the oututs of an air flow meter 14 and a crank angle sensor 44, on the base of the outputs of a sucked air temperature sensor 16 and an O2 sensor 36. Further, an actual injection timing signal is outputted to an injector 30 in synchronism with the injection timing obtained on the basis of the output of the crank angle sensor 44. In this case, the control device 50 causes a tp pulse including a basic injection timing component of a pulse width tp corresponding to half the actual basic injection timing to generate every crank angle of 360° and simultaneously with the termination of measurement of the pulse width tp of the pulse tp, the injection of the fuel by the injector 30 and the correcting operation of the fuel injection timing are started.
