PURPOSE: To relieve bending moment yielded due to a bedrock, to reduce the thickness of a wall, and to shorten a term of works, by a method wherein a wall body part, formed such that 4 segments are combined together, and a bottom board are coupled together through a stretching means, and the wall body part is inserted between pillars.
CONSTITUTION: Guide pillars 3 are erected at given intervals in a bottom board 2 made of concrete, 4 segments 5 made of precast concrete are tightened and combined together in a shape of square having cross inside to form a wall body unit 6, and the wall body units 6 are respectively erected between the guide pillars 3. A stud 10 attached to the back plate of each segment 5 is coupled to a stud 10 erected on the bottom board 2 by the use of a tie rod 11 and a turn buckle 12 to construct a retaining wall 10. This enables rotation of the wall body part 15, relief of bending moment, reduction in the thickness of the body part 15, and shortening of the term of works.
