PURPOSE: To easily execute the reservation of a timer by providing an input means for voice, a voice recognition part, a reservation memory which stores the timer reservation information from the voice recognition part, an input control part, and a remote control signal generation part which outputs the data of a reserved reservation memory by a wireless remote control output means.

CONSTITUTION: An inputted voice signal is converted into an electric signal, inputted to a voice recognition part 8, and digitally converted. When a coincidence is decided with a voice pattern registered in the memory of a voice recognition part 8, it is converted into an encoded binary data and sent to an input control part 2. Successively, the reservation data inputted by voice is stored in the reservation memory 3, and displayed on a timer reservation display part 4. And after the reservation data is all inputted, when a reservation transfer operation is executed, the input control part 2 transmits the data of the reservation memory 3 to a remote control signal generation part 5, drives an infrared ray emitting diode 6 and outputs the timer reservation data to a video tape recorder. Thus, the reservation of the timer and the operation of the video tape recorder from a separated place can be executed easily.
