Title:
CONTROL SIGNAL PROCESSOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS5938914
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To prevent the recording of a wrong control signal when a reproduced information signal is recorded to another recording medium after converting the format of said information signal, by comparing the 1st and 2nd control signals with each other.

CONSTITUTION: A PQGEN9 receives the time code TC data from a VTR5 as well as a control signal from a control signal generator 18, and the PQGEN9 generates subcodes P and Q and supplies them to a format encoder 14. At the same time, the control signal contained in the code Q is compared with the control signal contained in a reproduced PCM signal through a comparator 30. When no coincidence is obtained from the comparison, a system controller 32 drives an alarm 33 to stop the recording to a disk 22. As a result, the recording of a wrong control signal can be avoided.
