PURPOSE: To obtain titled composition while remaining the original resin characteristics intact, by in corporating a methacrylic resin with a high-purity glycerin monolaurate and a specific alkanol or glycerin.

CONSTITUTION: The objective composition can be obtained by incorporating (A) 100pts.wt. of a methacrylic resin with (B) 1.0W4.0pts.wt. of a high-purity glycerin monolaurate and (C) 0.05W1pt.wt. of a 13W22C alkanol or glycerin or a mixture thereof. Said high-purity glycerin monolaurate is pref. of the following type: (1) a compound consisting of glycerin and a fatty acid containing 90wt% of lauric acid. (2) contents of glycerin dilaurate and glycerin trilaurate are ≤1wt%, respectively. (3) content of α-glycerin monolaurate in ≥60wt%. The 13W22C alkanol is preferably cetyl alcohol or stearyl alcohol among others.
