PURPOSE: To prevent a metallic thin film and a protecting film layer from being peeled from a transparent substrate and to improve adhesivity and weather resistance by forming a concentric circular or helical groove on the transparent substrate and/or a coarse concentric circular area at the outer or inner peripheral part of a bit for signal.

CONSTITUTION: In the recording area of a glass master disk 20, the coarse concentric circular area is formed at an outer peripheral part 21 and/or an inner peripheral part 22 (O/I) on the same surface. One face of the disk 20 is coated with a resist 11 and after drying it, when the face is irradiated with a laser beam and developed for recording the groove and/or a pit 12 for signal, the pit 12 for signal and the coarse concentric circular area of the O/I are formed on the disk 20. A metallic stamper 23 transferring the coarse area is produced and by using the stamper 23, a transparent disk substrate 24 composed of transparent resin is produced. Then, the metallic thin film layer to be physically or optically changed by the laser beam is formed on the surface of the substrate 24 and further, a layer 16 composed of ultraviolet curing resin or the like is filmed on it. Thus, the force of adhering the metallic thin film and the protecting thin film to the substrate is improved, and weather resistance can be improved.
