Title:
POWER SOURCE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS59181977
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PURPOSE:To simply and accurately prevent the intermittent oscillation at dimming time by discharging the stored charge of a capacitor for drive by a switching element which becomes ON only the OFF period of a transistor. CONSTITUTION:When an input power source is energized, a transistor 8 is turned ON, a current is flowed between the resonator of a capacitor 15 and the primary winding 71 and the emitter and the collector of a transistor 8. A transistor 43 is turned OFF by an electromotive force produced at the base winding 73, and a capacitor 50 is charged by the electromotive force produced in an auxiliary winding 74. When the transistor 8 is turned OFF by the resonance of an inductor 19 and the capacitor 50, the transistor 43 is turned ON by the electromotive force produced in a base winding 73, and the stored charge of the capacitor 50 is discharged and reset in a closed loop of the emitter, collector of the transistor 43 and a diode 52.
