PURPOSE: To produce a light steering wheel with low cost by mounting a rim core metal in the core metal groove of rim body of steering wheel then filling the opening for mounting the core metal with synthetic resin.

CONSTITUTION: A rim body 11 is integrally molded into a hollow member through blow molding of synthetic resin where a core metal groove 14 is made along the axis of rim body 11 in the center of outer wall section 12 having approximately circular cross-section. While a recess 18 is made by a supporting wall 17 continuous with the core metal surrounding section 13 in the other side of said groove 14 of outer wall section 12. The rim core metal 10 is fitted forcefully in the core metal groove 14 of rim body 11 while a spoke core metal 7 is fitted forcefully in the spoke core metal groove 20 then filler 23 is filled in said recess 18 and openings 16, 21 thus to assemble a steering.
