PURPOSE: To obtain quickly, exactly and easily a weaving position data for scaling by utilizing a primary weaving position data corresponding to a primary teaching position data which is obtained already.
CONSTITUTION: First of all, primary welding positions P1, P4 and P7, and the number of times (n) of welding in case of a multilayer welding are taught. Subsequently, primary welding weaving positions P2, P3WP5, P6W are taught. Next, a welding position Qi after the primary welding is taught. It becomes a position where scaling is executed by a shift vector portion P1Q1. Thereafter, a weaving position Qj after the primary welding is taught. It is derived by adding the vector P1Q1 to P2 and P3, respectively, and Q5 and Q6 are derived by adding a vector P4Q7 to P5 and P6, respectively. Thereafter, it is repeated successively until the number of times becomes (n) times.
