Title:
5-PHASE BRUSHLESS DC MOTOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS609356
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PURPOSE:To improve the efficiency by shortening an armature winding which does not contribute to a generating torque and a time zone of the winding of such a state, thereby obtaining a strong rotary torque. CONSTITUTION:A field pole 9' has four poles magnetized at equal central angles of N- and S-poles. Five armature windings 4'-1-4'-5 are formed so that the central angle of the conductor which contributes to a generating torque is substantially equal to the width of the field pole 9'. Salient poles, on which the windings 4'-1-4'-5 are wound, are formed of a magnetic material, and have ten slots 3'-1-3'-10. The windings 4'-1-4'-5 are wound on the salient poles as a rotor 1', and the pole 9' is used as a stator.
