Abstract:
PURPOSE: To suppress the shift of a central wavelength with a change in temp. and humidity by covering the equipment of a multi-layered dielectric film filter with a sealant.
CONSTITUTION: The end face of the multi-layered dielectric film filter 11 which forms an optical multiplexer/demultiplexer, allows the transmission of specific wavelength component light and reflects the other wavelength component light is covered with the sealant 21 having a low moisture permeability. Then even if the temp. and humidity change, the in and out of moisture to and from the filter 11 are prevented and the shift of the central wavelength with the change in the temp. and humidity is suppressed.
