Abstract:

PURPOSE: To enable to perform control operation with the aid of only two controllers, by a method wherein the crane in the title with a carriage for elevating a running fork for cargo reception/delivery is constituted such that a fork motor and a running motor are alternatively connected to a single speed controller and an elevating motor to a controller for exclusive use.

CONSTITUTION: The speed of an elevating motor 9 is controlled by means of an inverter 11 for exclusive use, and a running motor 8 and a fork motor 10 are alternatively connected to an inverter 13 serving for the purpose of both running and fork by means of a switching means 12 to perform control of a speed. The inverters 11 and 13 and a switching means 12 are controlled by means of control signals 16a, 16b, and 16c from a microcomputer 14. This constitution, pulses from pulse encoders 18W19 for the elevating motor 9, the running motor 8, and the fork motor 10, respectively, are computed by means of the microcomputer 14, and speed control of each of the motors 8W10 in relation to each cargo delivery part is thus carried out. This enables to perform control by means of two speed controllers.
