Abstract:
PURPOSE:To prevent a magnetic flux from leaking from the interior by integrally forming a flange of aluminum having a hole for supporting a rotational shaft at the center of the bottom together with a thin magnetic plate of the bottom, and engaging the plate also with the circumference of the flange. CONSTITUTION:A shielding plate 7 which has the outside 3 for forming a space 2 for containing a stator and a rotor and a boss 4 for containing a bearing 5 provided in a hole 6 to be inserted with a rotational shaft 2 at the center of the bottom ia integrally formed with the plate 7. The plate 7 is formed of a magnetic plate such as a thin iron plate or an iron foil. Then, an annular shielding plate 8 having L-shaped section is engaged with the inner periphery of the outside 3. A rotor and a stator of a motor are assembled therein oppositely to the flange having no flange of the same structure or no shaft inserting hole 6. Thus, a light flange can be readily formed by a die casting process to prevent a magnetic flux from leaking from the motor.
