Abstract:
PURPOSE:To count the number of recorded sheets by a cassette only by connecting a counter mechanism mechanically with a sheet number indicator in a cassette, and counting the number of sheets by electric signals. CONSTITUTION:When counting, a disk 1 for indicating number of sheets rotates. As an example of indication of number of sheets, a scale is provided around a disk 1 for indication of number of sheets on the surface of a cassette 8, and the number of recorded sheets is indicated at a position shown by the arrow 4. A positioning pin 16 is provided in the flange 40 of a counter feeding mechanism 43, and engaged with the positioning hole 6 of the disk 1. When the pin 16 coincides with the position of the hole 6, the flange 40 slides in the direction C and rotates the disk 1 for indication of the number of sheets by its rotation. A microswitch 39 is cut off by the sliding. The number of sheets is detected by make and break of the microswitch 39.
