PURPOSE: To enhance the comfortability by a relatively simple construction wherein a convection and heat radiation region is defined by locating water supply and drain pipes for the floor heater panel below the opening of the room so that the room may be heated both by convection and heat radiation.

CONSTITUTION: In a floor heater wherein a floor heater panel 2 is installed on a floor 1, a water supply pipe 4 and a drain pipe 5 both forming a radiation region are located below an opening 3 of the room to be heated. The water supply and drainage pipes 4 and 5 are shielded by means of a cover 6 having a blowoff port 7 formed in the upper surface thereof. Where the pipes 4 and 5 are installed on the floor 1, an intake port 8 is formed on the side surface on the side of the panel so that the air in the room may be drawn in, whilst where they are embedded, the intake port 8 is located on the lower surface of the floor so that the open air may be drawn in. Further, each of the pipes 4 and 5 has a plurality of fins 9 projecting therefrom so as to increase the heat radiation therethrough. That is, cooling of the room by the air flow passing through the opening 3 and by the open air can be eliminated by the convection due to the heat radiation from the panel 2 and the pipes 4 and 5.
