PURPOSE: To reduce the generation of NOx and realize at the same time miniaturization of the burner itself and achieve high load combustion by providing a diaphragm section with a movable section which opens and closes by receiving the pressure of a first mixture gas chamber on the side of a second mixture gas chamber in the mixture gas channel that is provided in the burner main body communicating a first mixture gas chamber with a second mixture gas chamber.
CONSTITUTION: At the time of the maximum combustion, part of the mixture gas in a first mixture gas chamber 6 is blown out of a first flame hole section 8, and the rest of the mixture gas passes through a mixture gas channel 9 by opening forcibly the movable section 14 because of the relatively high pressure in the first mixture gas chamber 6 and flows into a second mixture gas chamber 10. In the second mixture gas chamber 10 the mixture gas mixes with the air that flows in from an air intake port 12 and a mixture gas that is rarefied and uniformly mixed with its primary air at a ratio below the combustibility limit is formed and it is supplied to the flame formed above the first flame hole section 8 from a secondary flame hole section 15. On the other hand at the time of the minimum combustion the movable section blocks the mixture gas channel 9 because of the low pressure in the first mixture gas chamber 6, and the mixture gas is blown out only from the first flame hole section 8, and the air that is supplied from the air intake port is bypassed from the second flame hole section 15.
