Abstract:
NEW MATERIAL:The compound of formula I (A is 2-butenediylidene or tetra- methylene; R1 is lower alkyl or lower alkeyl; R2 is H, lower alkyl, lower alkenyl or acyl; R3 and R4 are H or together form oxo) or its salt (excluding FR-900220 substance and its salt).
EXAMPLE: ( 5aS,7aS,8aR,13aS,15aS,16aS )-8a,16a-Bis( 1,1-dimethyl-2-propenyl )-5,5a, 8,8a,13,13a,16,16a-octahydropyrazino[ 1",2"-1,5:4",5"-1',5' ]dipyrrolo[ 2,3-b:2',3'-b ]di-indole-7,15(7aH,15aH)-dione.
USE: Useful as a hypotensor and a remedy and preventive for infectious diseases.
PREPARATION: The compound of formula I a or its salt is produced by the desulfurization cyclization of the compound o formula II (R6 is lower alkyl) or its salt.
